Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your JustInCaseNote account and all associated data at any time.

Delete from the app (recommended)

The fastest way. Gives you 30 days to change your mind. No need to contact us.

  1. Open JustInCaseNote on your device.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm.

Your account will be scheduled for removal in 30 days. Monitoring is paused immediately — no notes will send during the 30-day window. You can cancel any time before then by tapping Cancel account removal in Settings.

Need immediate removal?

Only if you can't wait 30 days. Send an email to support@justincasenote.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” from the email address associated with your account so we can verify ownership. We will process the request within 7 business days.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and profile information
  • All continuity notes and their content
  • Recipient details
  • Check-in history and event logs
  • Reminder preferences
  • Push notification tokens

Before you delete

  • Cancel your subscription first.Go to your device's subscription settings (Settings > Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play > Subscriptions on Android). Deleting your account does not automatically cancel billing.
  • Account deletion is permanent and irreversible after the 30-day grace period ends. Before then, you can cancel at any time from inside the app.
  • During the 30-day grace period, active notes are paused and will not be delivered. To arm them again, cancel the account removal and resume monitoring on the Dashboard.

Data retention

After deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be used to identify you. We may also retain limited records as required by law or to prevent fraud.
