Continuity planning, simplified

Words delivered
when you can't be.

What would you want your family to know if you suddenly couldn't tell them? Account passwords. Insurance details. A message you never got around to saying. JustInCaseNote holds your private notes and delivers them to the people you choose — but only if you go silent.

How it works

Four steps. That's it.

01

Write a note

Capture the things that matter — passwords, instructions, or just the words you want said.

02

Choose recipients

Pick who receives your note by email. They won't know until it's delivered.

03

Set a delivery window

Days, weeks, or months. Check in with a single tap to keep your notes held.

04

Silence triggers delivery

If you stop checking in and the timer runs out, your notes are delivered automatically.

Checking in

Check in however fits your day.

Staying covered is effortless. Pick whichever is closest to hand — either resets your delivery timer instantly.

Tap the button in any reminder

Every push, email, and SMS reminder includes a one-tap check-in link. No login hunt, no menu diving — you're covered in a second, wherever you are.

Open the app and tap Check In

Launching JustInCaseNote resets your delivery timer automatically. Or tap the big teal button on the home screen for an explicit check-in — same effect.

End-to-end encryption

Some things even we shouldn't see.

For sensitive content like passwords or financial details, encrypt your notes with a passphrase. Your notes are encrypted on your device before they ever reach our servers — we can never read them. Only someone who knows the passphrase can unlock the note.

  1. Encrypted on your device

Your passphrase never leaves your phone.

  2. We only store ciphertext

Even our servers see scrambled bytes — nothing readable.

  3. Recipient unlocks with the passphrase

Share it through a channel you trust, separate from the note.

True zero-knowledge. We literally cannot decrypt your content, even if compelled to.

Smart reminders

We'll never send your notes without warning you first.

JustInCaseNote sends daily check-in reminders, hourly alerts as your deadline approaches, and a final notification 30 minutes before delivery — so accidental delivery never happens.

  1. Daily

    Gentle check-in reminders

While your timer has time to spare.

  2. Hourly

    Closer to the deadline

Once your note has less than 12 hours remaining.

  3. 30 min

    Final warning before delivery

One last chance to check in. Then — and only then — we send.

Secure delivery
